Vegas for Work

My hotel for the duration of my stay was Aria.  I really enjoyed this hotel. I used the mobile check-in process to avoid the long line.  I love the in-room Tablets provided in every room to control the lighting, temperature, shades, TV, check out and even order ahead for Starbucks. I also liked that Aria’s concierge team was available via text.  Say your in the office and you forgot to make dinner reservations… just send them a text and it's done.

Restaurants

Aria has some great restaurants.  I had the pleasure of going to Lemongrass, Herringbone, Javier's, and Aria Cafe.  Everything was really good. I did not have one bad meal on this trip. I especially would recommend Javier's it was a memorable Mexican meal. I had the Cabo Azul, the shrimp tacos was the best part, and the Mocha infused Tres Leches was amazing.

Additional recommendations:

Farm to Table - Harvest by Roy Ellamar in the Bellagio.  I had the Lamb chops. They were so good I will be back.

Sushi - RA Sushi at the Fashion Show Mall. Go during happy hour to get a variety of rolls and great drinks.  I recommend the Viva Las Vegas roll. We were so excited about their happy hour that we couldn't even finish everything.

Burgers - Gordon Ramsay's Burger in Planet Hollywood.  I recommend the Mediterranean Burger, if you like lamb like I do.

Shows

During my trip, I went to see MJ One by Cirque du Soleil.  Although, I have seen KA, Zumanity, and Zarkana while in Vegas previously.  This was the best Cirque du Soleil show I have seen to date. It's a must see next time your in Las Vegas. Check out the Cirque du Soleil website to see if they are running any promotional deals.  I received 25% tickets price with their Summer promotion.

Other things to do

Walk the strip - there are lots of things to see from the Eiffel Tower at the Paris Hotel, Bellagio Fountains, the Volcano at the Mirage. I recommend going inside the Bellagio to view the Conservatory & Botanical gardens.

Foundation Room - place toget a great view of the strip in Mandalay Bay.

Welcome to Las Vegas Sign - south of the strip.

Pawn Stars - check out the World Famous Gold Pawn Shop to see the place where Pawn Stars is filmed.

That sums up how I turned a work trip into a journey of great sites and food.  What would you recommend I do next time I'm in Vegas?
